To say this year has been busy would be an understatement. From launching new products and features to growing our team to building new partnerships, momentum was a central theme for us in 2025. We didn’t just grow in numbers. We grew in perspective. 

Across every part of the business, whether working with merchants, building smarter products, or supporting our partners, our team showed what happens when we honour mastery, fail fast and learn, and solve for success together.

Here’s a look at the moments that shaped us and the progress we’re proud to celebrate.

Product Wins: Building Better Payment Experiences

Bringing payments into the game

  • Officially launched ‘In-game Payments’ at the Canadian Gaming Summit 2025, allowing players to deposit funds and continue playing without navigating away from the action.​
  • Added capabilities to support top-up buttons and QR code deposits for a seamless, uninterrupted player experience.​
  • Merchants benefited from tools to:
    • Increase average deposit per user (ADPU) during peak engagement moments.​
    • Reduce user drop-off by keeping the entire funding process within the gaming interface.​
    • Capture more live bets and extend average session times by removing payment friction.​
  • Supported by robust security, risk management, and instant deposits/withdrawals to enhance user trust and loyalty.

A smarter Merchant Portal for payment teams

  • Launched a new Merchant Portal with:
    • Live dashboards for real-time transaction metrics and conversion analysis.​
    • Custom exports and flexible reporting, including scheduled data exports and secure download notifications.​
    • Powerful benchmarking to compare conversion rates against anonymized peer data, enabling smarter optimization.​
    • On-demand live chat, connecting merchants directly to specialists for quick support and faster ticket resolution.​

Product Branding & UX: Payments that feel like your brand

  • User experience improvements included:
    • Remembering preferred banks for returning users, making checkout quicker.​
    • Clearer manual Interac e-Transfer options and smart tooltips encouraging streamlined payment paths.​
    • All enhancements are shown to boost conversion rates and reduce abandonment.​
  • Expanded branding options:
    • Merchants can add custom brand colors and logos throughout the payment experience.​
    • Branded, customer-facing emails with QR codes for added convenience and channel shift.

Company Wins: Trust and Recognition

Paramount Commerce also reached several major company milestones that underscore our role as a leading payment partner in North America and beyond.

Record Super Bowl growth

This year’s Super Bowl period marked one of our strongest performance windows to date. 

Transaction volumes and engagement surged as operators leaned on Paramount Commerce to deliver fast, reliable, and conversion-focused payment experiences during one of the busiest betting events of the year.

The growth we saw around the Super Bowl further reinforced the importance of resilient infrastructure and low-friction payment flows during peak demand.

Strategic partnerships that expand our reach

2025 was also a year of meaningful partnerships designed to extend our capabilities and footprint:

  • BMO partnership: Our collaboration with BMO strengthened our position in the Canadian market and unlocked new opportunities to support merchants and consumers with trusted, bank-backed payment options.
  • TerraPay partnership: Partnering with TerraPay opened doors to more global movement of money and paved the way for future cross-border innovation, helping us better serve merchants with increasingly international customer bases.
  • MoonPay partnership: Through our partnership with MoonPay, Paramount Commerce took a step further into the digital asset and next-generation fintech ecosystem, aligning our capabilities with the evolving needs of modern consumers and platforms.

Each partnership supports our long-term vision: to make it easier for people to move money in and out of digital experiences, safely and efficiently.

A refreshed brand for a new chapter

This year, Paramount Commerce also unveiled new branding that reflects who we are today: a modern, trusted, and innovation-focused payments partner.

The refreshed visual identity and messaging better capture the sophistication of our platform and the diversity of verticals we serve, from gaming and betting to emerging digital experiences.

Raising the bar on compliance and trust

In 2025, Paramount Commerce became RPAA registered, reinforcing our commitment to compliance, consumer protection, and responsible payments in Canada.

RPAA registration is more than a regulatory milestone. It represents:

  • Stronger safeguards for consumers.
  • Greater transparency and accountability.
  • Increased confidence for merchants who rely on us as a critical payments partner.

As regulatory expectations evolve, Paramount Commerce remains committed to leading with compliance and trust.

Recognized on the global stage
